Being one of Columbus Ohio's oldest institutions, St. Mark's has produced
a volume of documents, photos and historic achievements. As we enter our
160th year of existence, we have begun the process of gathering these
materials and making them available to the general public.
In 1858, our first
Worshipful Master, Bro.
Charles Langston was
involved in the
Oberlin-Wellington
Rescue. He and other
men travelled to the city
of Oberlin, Ohio to help
free a fugitive slave.
